Tedee Go Smart Lock

The Tedee Go smart lock, available in silver or black, is a wireless electronic lock that you can control with your smartphone. Tedee even automatically locks or unlocks the door for you! When you approach your Tedee with your smartphone, the Smart Lock automatically opens. By holding the button for one second, you can close the front door behind you when you leave, and after the set number of seconds, Tedee will lock the door at night. Lock & Go, so to speak. This means you never have to use a key again. If you also want to control your smart lock from outside your home, you will need a Tedee Bridge, or you can order the Tedee Go with Bridge right away.

Your Tedee Go operates on 3 CR123 batteries, which last up to 9 months with approximately 8 operations per day. The Tedee Go Smart Lock is incredibly easy to install and mounts over your key, on the hardware, or on the cylinder (when the cylinder protrudes at least 3mm). Tedee has a beautiful design, is compact, and operates quietly. But it can be even smaller and quieter with the rechargeable Tedee Pro.

Through the app, you can grant access to others, such as your family, office staff, B&B or AirB&B guests, or even the cleaner on Tuesday mornings. Access can be limited or removed directly via the app. You can also check the log to see who has used your Smart Lock.

Make sure you have a cylinder with an emergency function. This means that if the key is inside the door for the Tedee Go, you should still be able to open the door with a key from the outside in case your Tedee is out of battery, for example. If this is not the case and you have no other access door, we recommend replacing the cylinder with one that has an emergency function. We can also supply (matching) cylinders if needed. Installation

Installing the Tedee Go is relatively simple.

There are 2 methods;
Method A is if your cylinder protrudes less than 3mm (measurement card included). If that's the case, you mount the Tedee Go using the included back plate that you stick onto the hardware.
Method B is if your cylinder protrudes 3mm or more. In this case, you screw the Tedee Go directly onto your cylinder. Be careful not to screw the 3 screws too tightly, as the brass of your cylinder is quite soft and you might screw them in too deep.

The communication of the Tedee Lock is secured with multi-level encryption, comparable to the security standards of online banking. It has been tested by independent organizations such as AV-Test.org.

It is handy that you can still control your lock from outside the Bluetooth range of the Tedee, for example, when you are at work. For this, you need the Tedee Bridge, which is available separately! The bridge connects your Tedee lock to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control your lock from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. The bridge needs to be connected within about 5 meters of the lock for a good Bluetooth range.
