Shelly, what is it?

With Shelly IoT (Internet of Things) devices, you can easily and affordably control and automate your home or office wirelessly using the free Shelly App. Shelly operates via your 2.4GHz WiFi signal either locally or through the cloud, and there is no need for an expensive Hub or Gateway.

Wirelessly control your lights or devices with your smartphone or tablet from anywhere in the world, and monitor energy consumption. Make your lights smart with a Shelly in-wall switch or dimmer behind your wall switch, allowing you to control the lights with your smartphone while still using your wall switch. Easily create smart scenes (scenarios) and set timers in the free Shelly App for automation. For example, automatically turn on your lights at sunset or start your coffee maker at 7:30 am Monday to Friday. Receive a push notification on your smartphone when the washing machine is done or in case of a leak. The possibilities are endless. Voice control with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa is also possible; "Hey Google, turn on the table lamp".

Shelly is manufactured in Europe (Bulgaria) and is Open Source. This allows you to integrate Shelly modules with almost any Smart Home System. Many Shelly modules feature an ESP8266 flashable chip, making it possible to flash your own or alternative firmware, such as Tasmota or HomeKit. The best part is that you don't even need to open the Shelly. Flashing is easy via the directly accessible pins on the outside. However, an FTDI adapter is required.

Shelly 1L

The Shelly 1L is a built-in switch that can be connected without a blue neutral wire, which is often missing behind your wall switch. The Shelly 1L requires a Shelly Bypass for loads under 20W.

Shelly Dimmer 2

Shelly Dimmer 2 is a built-in dimmer with power monitoring and also works without a blue neutral wire (<10W Bypass required). It operates on 230VAC. Ideal for automating your lighting and measuring energy consumption.

Shelly RGBW 2

Shelly RGBW2 is a 4-channel LED strip controller or LED dimmer. It operates on 12-24VDC. Ideal for automating your White, RGB, or RGBW LED strips and your 12-24VDC LED lamps.

Shelly Plus UNI

Make all your devices smart with the Shelly Plus UNI. A universal module, connected via WiFi and small enough to be built in. You can also connect a moisture and temperature sensor or other sensors. It also has 2 Dry Contacts.

Shelly Plus Dimmer 0-10V

The Shelly Plus Dimmer 0-10V is designed to control 0-10V dimmable drivers wirelessly via WiFi. And the best part is, you can still use the wall switch. Note that this is a sinking type dimmer, and the driver provides the power.
