The Shelly TRV is a smart WiFi thermostat knob for your radiator. Control your heating with the app, easily set heating schedules, and experience a comfortable temperature in every room. This is true zone heating, with each room at the right temperature at the right time.
What is it?
With the smart Shelly TRV WiFi Radiator Knob, you only heat where necessary and not higher than needed. Whether the fireplace is burning or the sun is shining through the windows, the Shelly TRVs take it into account. This way, you can save up to 15% on your heating costs.
Install the TRV on each radiator in less than 5 minutes, and connect it in the Shelly app by room to create zone heating. From that moment on, customized comfort is possible. For example, you might want the baby's room at 17°C, the living room at a comfortable 20°C, while 14°C is sufficient for the empty guest room. The TRV is rechargeable and the battery lasts about 2 years.
How does it work?
The Shelly TRV Radiator Knob is suitable for almost all radiators where the old thermostat knob can be removed. The TRV Radiator Knob comes with an M30x1.5mm adapter ring. For the two most common deviations, standard adapter rings are included: M28x1.5mm and Danfoss RA connection. Note that adapter rings are available for almost all other radiator connections. Your installer will know all about it.
If you combine the Shelly TRV with a Shelly H&T temperature sensor or another Shelly temperature sensor, you can easily place it somewhere in the room for the best temperature measurement. Geofencing or the Shelly Motion sensor is also an option to smartly control your heating with the Shelly TRV. And if a window is open, the Shelly Door/Window sensor will turn off the TRV to prevent unnecessary energy waste.
Even when you go on vacation, simply activate the Holiday Profile and save energy. If you forget, no worries—just use the app from your car or the airport. And turn it off a day before your return via the app for a pleasant temperature when you get home. The possibilities are endless.
In addition to smart radiator control, you can also smartly control your boiler or heat pump with, for example, a Shelly Plus 1 or Plus 1PM. If there is a heating demand somewhere, the boiler turns on; if there is no heating demand, it turns off. If you also have underfloor heating, you can also make it smart with Shelly. True zone heating is now possible with Shelly thanks to the new TRV.

Inmiddels 3, naar tevredenheid, in gebruik. Vooral handig dat je 'm niet meer vergeet dicht te draaien en je 'm automatisch op een bepaald moment op een bepaalde temperatuur kunt zetten door middel van schedules ( of curl/REST ) . Accu lijkt erg lang mee te gaan voordat je 'm moet opladen. Open interface was voor mij een must in verband met aansturen met een raspberry dmv python/curl. De Wifi presaties zijn niet heel erg super, maar wel voldoende: De verste trv connect stabiel op -78dB en werkt verder zonder problemen. Leuk dat je kunt zien hoe ver dat de kraan open staat ( in % ). Handig dat ie automatisch calibreert en dat je de weergegeven temperatuur met een offset kunt corrigeren.
