Automate your distribution board or power circuits easily and affordably with this smart Shelly PRO 4PM (v2) WiFi and LAN DIN-Rail switch. Switch or automate up to 4 circuits with your smartphone from anywhere in the world, or set up convenient switch schedules and scenes via the free Shelly App. No expensive gateway or hub required!
NOTE: If you need to switch a 3-phase system, go for the Shelly PRO 3 (no power measurement), and if you need 3-phase power measurement, choose the Shelly PRO 3EM.
For example, if you connect your lighting and appliances to one circuit, you can turn them on or off with a single button press, which is useful for office settings. Never forget to turn off the lights again, prevent standby power drain from equipment, and save on energy costs. Through power measurement, you can monitor consumption per circuit, and even set the maximum load per circuit, with the Shelly PRO 4PM automatically switching off the circuit in case of overload. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible.
This smart WiFi and LAN DIN-Rail switch can be installed in your distribution board and controls up to 4 circuits, each with a maximum of 16A (4x3680W) per circuit, totaling a maximum of 40A. On the 1.8-inch color screen, you can read the status and power consumption of each circuit and operate the PRO 4PM. Install the Shelly PRO 4PM and connect via Bluetooth for easy pairing with the App. Click on Add Device in the menu and follow the instructions. After that, you can control the switch wirelessly with the App from anywhere in the world, integrate it into smart scenes (scenarios), and set timers.
The Shelly PRO 4PM features the new ESP32 processor, supports mjS scripting, and also includes a local HTTP server (port 80), which acts as a simple web page for setting basic parameters. This allows you to control the Shelly PRO 4PM via web requests and integrate it with your home automation or smart home system. Note: Use RC-Snubbers on each output for inductive loads such as fans, motors, tubular motors, or loads that cause voltage spikes during switching. Consider ordering them as well.
Works with:
* FIBARO Home Center 2, 3, or Lite via a Virtual Device/Quick App
** Apple HomeKit requires flashing or a Homebridge
Prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want remote control of your devices? No problem. The Shelly PRO 4PM also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central mediator: the MQTT broker. The involved devices communicate only with the broker and do not know each other. They do not need to know the IP addresses and technical details of the other participants. Safe and reliable, with real-time monitoring and easy integration. Want to know more? Check out our Shelly WiFi Switch Blog.
