Shelly Plus UNI

Make all your devices smart with the Shelly Plus Uni. A universal module, connected via WiFi and small enough to build in. It also lets you connect a DHT22 humidity and temperature sensor or else up to 5x the DS18B20 temperature sensor.

The super small smart implant is a 9V-28VDC, 5VDC or 8V-24VAC built-in switch anex sensor, with 2 digital and 1 analogue inputs and 2 potential-free switchable/controllable outputs. Although there is no plastic housing, the transparent insulation cap over the chip protects it from high humidity, dust and the risk of short circuits during long working hours.

Additionally order sensors, a 12VDC or 24VDC power adapter, and/or protective case by checking the checkbox.
NOTE: Shelly Plus UNI inputs are different from those of the Shelly UNI. Inputs are now wired by GND or Neutral.

The ADC (Analog to Digital Conversion) range measures any voltage from 0-15VDC or 0-30VDC. Dual ranges ensure exceptionally high accuracy. Nice to connect a Hygrometer to it e.g. and measure soil moisture for your irrigation system.

The Shelly Plus UNI supports up to 5xDS18B20 temperature sensors or 1x DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, making it possible to activate outputs, or local and cloud scenes based on temperature or humidity. A 3mtr DS18B20 sensor is also available. Thus, the Shelly Plus UNI works with almost any Arduino sensor.

Say you have an alarm system and want to include it in your Smart Home System, so you can read the status, remotely arm and disarm the alarm, and receive a notification on your smartphone in case of danger, from anywhere in the world. The Shelly Uni makes this possible, by linking it to a free zone and the so-called key switch.
And so virtually any (old) device can be made smart, by simply placing this smart implant between the buttons (switches) and circuit board, as long as the switch is 9-28VDC, 5VDC or 8-24VAC low-voltage with up to 100mA per output. For example, think of your doorbell, thermostat, air conditioner, expresso machine, audio/video equipment, electric garage door, etc. However, if it concerns a higher power circuit, go for the Shelly Plus 1 relay switch.

The Shelly Uni supports 12V-36VDC or 12V-24VAC, and has the fast ESP32 with flashable chip built-in. This allows you to flash your own or alternative firmware, such as Tasmota or HomeKit, for example. This does require a USB-to-UART 3.3V and at least 350mA adapter. And the great thing is, flashing is easy via the direct-access pins. And works as a WiFi amplifier, with Bluetooth for easy connection to your home WiFi, BLE Gateway, enhanced security with MQTT, scripting, webhooks, WebSocket, HTTPS, UDP, TLS and custom certificates.

Would you rather not use the free Shelly cloud service, but still be able to control your devices remotely? No problem. Shelly plus Uni also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central broker: the MQTT broker. The devices involved communicate only with the broker and do not otherwise know each other. So they do not need to know the ip addresses and technical details of the other participants. Secure and reliable, therefore, with real-time monitoring and easy integration.
