Shelly Plus i4 WiFi built-in switch

Wirelessly control your lights, sunshade, or roller shutter with your wall switch(es). Easily create smart scenes (scenarios) in the free app for your home automation. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible; "Hey Google, turn on the table lamp."

Also now available the new and improved Shelly i4 Gen3. With the new chip and more memory this module can be upgraded to Matter in the future and can be used as BTHome gateway for Shelly BLU devices i.c.w. Home Assistant for example.

Shelly Plus i4

The Shelly Plus i4 is a very affordable and smart small WiFi in-wall switch for your Smart Home System, which you can install behind your wall switches. The open-source nature allows you to integrate the Shelly i4 with almost any home automation system. However, Shelly also offers a free app, enabling you to set up a Smart Home System easily and inexpensively without the cost of a Gateway/Hub. The Shelly Plus i4 smart switch supports 110-240VAC but has no outputs (no relay). The intention is that the Shelly i4 wirelessly controls other Shelly relays or smart plugs, with up to 4 inputs for 3 actions per button, resulting in a maximum of 12 functions:
- On/Off (rocker switch)
- On/Off Short press (push button)
- Long press (push button)
- 2x Short press (push button)
NOTE: The Shelly Plus i4 has no outputs, so you cannot directly connect a light or device to it.
The Shelly Plus i4 DC is now also available.

Install Shelly i4 according to the instructions, now even easier to add via Bluetooth, and connect via WiFi with the free Shelly App. Pair your Shelly i4 with other Shelly devices using Actions or Scenes. It couldn't be easier! It works perfectly in combination with, for example, the Gira 4-way basic unit push contact or the JUNG 4-way Multi-push button, or from another brand. 

The Shelly Plus i4 switch supports 110-240VAC and has the fast ESP32 chip built in. Like the rest of the Plus series, the Shelly Plus i4 has enhanced security with MQTT and WSS support, TLS, and custom certificates support. It also features an improved API Interface and Java scripting.

If you prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely, no problem. Shelly i4 also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections through a central broker: the MQTT broker. The involved devices only communicate with the broker and do not know each other. They don’t need to know the IP addresses and technical details of the other participants.
