The Shelly Plus 1PM with power measurement now features an extremely fast ESP32 processor, Bluetooth for easy connection to the Shelly Cloud, enhanced security with MQTT + SSL, MQTT combined with Cloud, scripting, and more;

Install the Shelly Plus 1PM easily behind your wall switch, socket, or device, and connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with the app. Shelly offers a free app that allows you to set up a smart home system easily and affordably without the cost of a gateway or hub. You can then control the switch wirelessly with the app from anywhere in the world, incorporate it into smart scenes and set timers, such as turning on your light at sunset. Voice control with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa is also available. The open-source nature ensures that you can integrate the Shelly Plus 1PM with virtually any home automation system. For installation in the electrical panel on a DIN rail, there is the Shelly Plus DIN-Rail mount, or opt for the Shelly PRO 1PM. There is also now the small, affordable Shelly Plus 1PM Mini Gen3.

If you prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely, no problem. Shelly Plus 1PM also supports MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central intermediary: the MQTT broker. The involved devices communicate only with the broker and do not know each other directly. They do not need to know the IP addresses or technical details of the other participants.
