The Shelly Plug S is End of Life (EOL). Its successor is the Shelly Plus Plug S, featuring a faster ESP32 chip, Bluetooth for easy Wi-Fi connection, improved Wi-Fi antenna, and more.

This small smart Wi-Fi plug fits anywhere and allows you to wirelessly control your lamps or devices with your smartphone from anywhere in the world. Easily create smart scenes (scenarios) and set timers in the free app for your home automation. For example, automatically turn on your lights at sunset or start your coffee machine at 7:30 AM from Monday to Friday. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible; "Hey Google, turn on the floor lamp."

This is Plug & Play. Simply plug the Shelly Plug into an outlet, connect via Wi-Fi using the free Shelly App, and link your Shelly Plug S. It couldn't be easier! The built-in power meter allows you to monitor energy consumption. So, get rid of energy hogs, automatically switch off unnecessary lights and devices, and save energy, money, and the environment.

The Shelly Wi-Fi Plug S, suitable for up to 2500W, is a very affordable and intelligent Wi-Fi plug for your Smart Home System. The open source ensures that you can integrate your Shelly Plug S with almost any home automation system. But Shelly also has its own free app that allows you to easily and inexpensively set up a Smart Home System without the cost of a Gateway/Hub. The open source ensures that you can integrate the Shelly Dimmer with almost any home automation system.

If you prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely, no problem. Shelly Plug also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central broker: the MQTT broker. The involved devices only communicate with the broker and do not know each other. They don’t need to know the IP addresses or technical details of other participants. This ensures secure and reliable communication with real-time monitoring and easy integration.
