Install the Shelly Door/Window WiFi Sensor according to the instructions, connect via WiFi with the free Shelly App, and pair the module. It couldn’t be simpler!

Prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely? No problem. The Shelly Door/Window WiFi Sensor 2 also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central mediator: the MQTT broker. The involved devices communicate only with the broker and do not know each other directly. They do not need to know the IP addresses or technical details of other participants. Werkt goed als sensor op garagedeur. Push notificatie duurt bij mij 5 a 10 sec. Eenvoudig in een zgn scene in de app vast te leggen.
Zo is altijd bekend en duidelijk of en wanneer een deur open is/gaat op dicht is/gaat.
Praktijk zal moeten uitwijzen hoe lang de 2 batterijen mee gaan. Zou aanzienlijk moeten zijn.
3 stuks gekocht en eventjes kunnen gebruiken. Met nieuwe batterijen werkt het 2 a 3 maanden goed, daarna batterijen leeg.
Misschien komt er ooit nog eens firmware uit waardoor de batterijen langer mee gaan dan een paar maanden. Voor nu veel te onbetrouwbaar en liggen er dus 3 stuks niets te doen. Jammer van het geld. De andere Shelly producten wel tevreden over.
>> Home2Link: Beste Gerard, vervelend te horen dat je batterijen snel leeg zijn. Mogelijk heb je de Temperature Threshold te laag gezet, en de Tilt en Vibration detection aan gezet, waardoor de DW2 sensor heel vaak moet communiceren, of heeft de DW2 een zwak wifi signaal?
