Shelly BLU Gateway

The Shelly BLU Gateway is the ideal solution if you do not yet have or have insufficient Shelly Plus or Pro devices at home as a Bluetooth gateway. With this Shelly Bluetooth stick, you can still connect the Shelly BLU Button1, Shelly BLU Door/Window sensor, or the upcoming Shelly BLU Motion sensor with the Shelly Smart Control App.

This smart Shelly Bluetooth stick is easily connected to a USB-A adapter and connected to your home WiFi. It then functions as a Bluetooth Hub for all your Shelly BLU devices and transmits Bluetooth signals to the cloud or other Bluetooth Shelly devices. The Shelly BLU Gateway supports scripting for local control, MQTT, Websocket, or other compatible Smart Home systems. It also works as a WiFi extender.

When you set up the Shelly BLU Gateway together with Shelly Plus and Pro devices as a Bluetooth gateway, the Bluetooth signal in the home is enhanced (mesh network) and the range for your smart Bluetooth devices is increased. The Bluetooth connection is fully secure with AES Encryption (CCM mode). It is also compatible with Home Assistant or other Smart Home systems that support the BTHome protocol. In addition to the new Shelly Smart Control App, you can still use the old Shelly Cloud app.
