Now with the new ESP-Shelly-C38F 8MB flash chip. Also, the 3rd generation Shelly 1 mini has a potential free relay (dry contact), so you can switch any voltage. But Shelly also has its own free App that allows you to easily and inexpensively set up a Smart Home System without the cost of a Gateway/Hub.
Shelly 1 Mini Gen3
Sometimes you just have limited space behind your wall switch or outlet. The Shelly 1 Mini is super small, and fits just about anywhere. You connect this smart switch to your home network via Bluetooth or Wifi, and plug into the wall switch of the lamp or appliance you want to control or automate wirelessly. The Shelly 1 mini supports 110-240VAC, max 8A/2000W, and 30VDC max 5A. This small switch has the new larger ESP-Shelly-C38F with 8MB flash chip built in. That's double compared to the 2nd generation Plus 1 Mini with ESP32 4MB chip.
Note; the Shelly 1 mini Gen3 also requires a blue neutral wire, which is sometimes missing behind the wall switch, and has no current measurement!
Also the Plus 1 Mini works as a WiFi amplifier, Bluetooth Gateway, supports scripting, webhooks, MQTT, WebSocket, HTTPS, UDP, TLS and custom certificates.
There is also the Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3 with current measurement, or the Shelly PM Mini Gen3 only current measurement and no switchable relay.
If you want to properly compare all 3 minis, check out the overview here, so the Gen3 has the ESP-Shelly-C38F with 8MB flash chip built in.
