This smart ZigBee rotary dimmer works without a blue neutral wire and is compatible with Philips Hue and Homey. Do you want to control that special table lamp where Philips Hue bulbs don’t fit and like the convenience of dimming the lamp with a rotary knob in addition to the Hue App? Look no further, because this smart ZigBee rotary dimmer makes almost any dimmable lamp compatible with Hue.
Turn your lights on/off and dim them wirelessly with your smartphone using the Hue or Homey App from anywhere in the world. Easily create smart scenes (scenarios) and set timers in the Hue App for your home automation. For example, automatically turn on your lights at sunset or dim them for nighttime between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible; “Hey Google, set the table lamp to 40%”. This ZigBee Rotary Dimmer is a very affordable and smart dimmer for your Smart Home System.
Also works with:
*Google Home or Alexa requires a compatible Hub
** via Homey with, for example, EasyLighting App
Install the ZigBee Dimmer according to the instructions, connect it to the Philips Hue Bridge via the Hue App, and link the module. It couldn’t be simpler! The ZigBee Dimmer works with traditional dimmable incandescent and halogen lamps up to 500W and low-voltage halogen or LED lighting up to 250W. You can also set the minimum dim level on the dimmer itself to prevent your lamps from flickering at low power levels. The dimmer does not require a blue wire for connection. If you connect the smart dimmer without a blue neutral wire and use lamps under 20W, we recommend also ordering the Bypass. If you have a blue neutral wire available, connect it.
The dimmer has a sleek design in white. It can also be used with switchgear from, among others, Gira System55 rotary knob, and Jung AS500 rotary knob.
