With the 4" Shelly Wall Display for the wall, you can easily control and monitor all your Shelly's in the room. With the minimalist look, it also fits perfectly into your interior and you can easily adjust the home screen to your liking. In less than 10 minutes, you can place the Shelly Touch Screen in the place of the wall switch, and from now on you can control your smart home system with a tap on the screen. For example, turn off all your lights at once by tapping the screen with 2 fingers. How cool is that.
NOTE: With the latest firmware update 2.2.0, there have been many changes to the layout and functions of the Wall Display. Among other things, you now have the free choice of devices, scenes, groups, weather, and music on the home screen, instead of only choosing from the devices in the room. There is now a separate Thermostat screen and a separate Settings screen. The photos below may differ after this firmware update. You can view the new features under Downloads.

Shelly Wall Display Black
The Shelly Wall Display has a 4 inch color touch screen with integrated 5A relay, so you can place this smart screen in the place of a wall switch and control the lamp with the display from now on. The Shelly Wall Display now comes with a separate temperature, humidity sensor, the shelly BLU H&T. This can be placed more easily somewhere in the center of the room for better and more accurate temperature and humidity. The Wall Display also has lux (brightness) sensors on board. That's useful, because you can also use the display as a wall thermostat. It also gives you insight into the humidity in your home or office. Often underestimated, but humidity is very important for your health, and that of your home (think of mold, for example). And via the lux sensor, you can automate the lighting for when it gets dark. Or briefly touch the screen with 2 fingers for easy switching on or off of your lighting.
Shelly Display Home Screen
Customize your Home Screen and layout effortlessly to suit your preferences, with up to six devices that are most important to you. With a single tap on the touch screen using two fingers, you can turn devices on or off, monitor humidity and temperature, and instantly check the current energy consumption in the room. Swipe the screen left and right for more options.
Around the end of September/beginning of October, it will also be possible to use the Wall Display as a wall thermostat, allowing you to control your boiler, underfloor heating, and/or Shelly TRV thermostats.
Note: currently, the Wall Display requires a blue neutral wire for connection, and your Shelly devices need to be connected to the cloud.
Shelly Display Favorites
Swipe to the right and you can access your favorites. In this special section, you can create an unlimited collection of your most-used devices, groups, and scenes, so you can easily reach them all.
Want to create the perfect lighting ambiance to watch a movie? Want to control device groups with a single tap? Simply add them to your favorites and navigate to them directly. Say goodbye to scrolling through menus: the Favorites tab ensures that everything you need is right where you expect it to be.
Shelly Display Devices
Get instant access to all your devices through the Devices tab on the Shelly Wall Display. View a complete list of devices set up in the room of your choice and control them all individually.
The touch screen is specifically designed for operating and monitoring your Shelly devices in the room where the display is installed. Therefore, you always add this room to your Shelly Wall Display.
The intuitive operation makes it accessible for everyone. This way, you don't need to give the babysitter or cleaner access to your Shelly App.
Shelly Display Groups
The Room-Specific Groups tab makes controlling your existing groups quick and easy. Discover and manage the groups of devices that work harmoniously within the selected room, all in one convenient place.
For example, with a single press of a button, you can turn on your kitchen lights or turn off the spotlights in the conservatory. Groups are ideal for switching specific Shelly devices on or off all at once.
You can easily create groups by making a new group and adding devices with an action. Only the groups belonging to this room are visible.
Shelly Display Scenes
Through the Scenes tab, you can easily start the scenes you've created to set the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. Whether it's a cozy movie night or a fun dinner party, the Scenes tab allows you to change the ambiance with a simple touch.
For example, with a single press of a button, you can set your preferred movie-watching settings to 10% light or activate colors via your Shelly RGBW bulbs or LED strip.
Scenes differ from groups as they allow for more specific settings and can also be started automatically. For instance, at sunset, the garden lights can turn on. In this screen, you can turn scenes on and off or start them.
How to install the Shelly Wall Display
The display needs to be connected to 230V mains voltage, and also requires a blue neutral wire. The simplest solution is to place the screen in the place of the current wall switch. But beware, sometimes the blue neutral wire behind the wall switch is missing, so check that first. If you don't have a blue neutral wire, you have to pull it from the central box. Shelly is currently working on a version that also works without a neutral wire, but that will be a few months before it comes out. The wall display fits on a standard flush-mounted box, or else use a surface-mounted box with a power cord.
The touch screen also has a built-in 5A relay, which you can then use to switch the lamp whose wall switch you have replaced. After that, it's a matter of turning the power back on, starting it up, simply connecting to your home Wi-Fi via Bluetooth, and choosing the room where the wall display is installed. Then, customize the layout to your liking. Installed and working within 10 minutes. It couldn't be easier. Also install the BLU H&T Sensor, and after installation, choose this sensor as the main sensor in the settings of the Display.
