Tedee Go with Bridge

The Tedee Go smart lock, available in silver or black, is a wireless electronic lock that you can control with your smartphone. Tedee can even automatically lock or unlock the door for you! When you come near your Tedee with your smartphone, the Smart Lock automatically opens. By holding the button for one second, you can lock the front door behind you when you leave, and after the set number of seconds, Tedee will engage the night latch. Your Tedee Go operates on 3 CR123 batteries, which can last up to 9 months with about 8 operations per day. The Tedee Go Smart Lock is incredibly easy to install and mounts over your key, either on the hardware or on the cylinder (when the cylinder protrudes at least 3mm). Tedee has a beautiful design, is compact and silent. But it can be even smaller and quieter with the rechargeable Tedee Pro.

Through the app, you can grant access to others, such as your family, office staff, B&B or AirB&B guests, or the cleaner on Tuesday mornings. Access can be limited or removed directly via the app. You can also view who has used your Smart Lock through the logbook.

Make sure you have a cylinder with an emergency function. This means that if the key is inside the door for Tedee Go, you should still be able to unlock the door from the outside with the key, in case your Tedee is empty, for example. If not, and you have no other access door, we recommend replacing the cylinder with one that has an emergency function. We can also supply matching cylinders if desired. Just send us an email.

Installation

The installation of the Tedee Go is quite straightforward.

There are 2 methods:
Method A is when your cylinder protrudes less than 3mm (measuring card included). If this is the case, you mount the Tedee Go using the included back plate, which you stick onto the hardware.
Method B is when your cylinder protrudes 3mm or more. In this case, you simply screw the Tedee Go onto the cylinder itself. Be careful not to screw the 3 screws too tight, as the brass of your cylinder is relatively soft, and you may drive the screws in too deep.

The communication of the Tedee Lock is secured with multi-level encryption. The security standards are comparable to those of the online banking sector and are tested by independent organizations such as AV-Test.org.

It's also convenient that you can still control your lock outside the Bluetooth range of Tedee, for example, when you are at work. For this, you need the Tedee Bridge, which is sold separately! The bridge connects your Tedee lock to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control your lock from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. The bridge must be connected within approximately 5 meters of the lock for good Bluetooth range.
