Shelly BLU H&T

The Shelly BLU H&T (Humidity & Temperature) Sensor gives you insight into the humidity and temperature in your home, office or outside. Often underestimated, but humidity is very important for your health, and that of your home (think mould, for example.) Recommended humidity is between 30-50 per cent, with the ideal being 45 per cent. With the help of the Shelly BLU HT and the free app, this is a piece of cake. Create smart scenes (scenarios) and automatically switch on the humidifier with the Shelly WiFi Plug, automate your ventilation system, and automatically switch on your electric (floor) heater or Shelly TRV for a comfortable temperature in the (bath) room.

NOTE: The Shelly BLU H&T requires a firmware update after commissioning, possibly via the free Shelly BLE Debug app for Android or IOS.

SHELLY BLU H&T

The Shelly BLU H&T runs on 1x CR2032 battery (approx. 3 years) and is IP54 moisture and dust resistant, so you can also place it outside, stick it to the wall or lay it down, as long as it is in Bluetooth range. With its beautiful and compact design and choice of 3 colours, Black, Ivory and Mocha, the sensor fits into any interior. The sensor continuously measures humidity and temperature in its immediate environment, and stores this data in the cloud for free for up to one year. Via the free app, you have insight into the data and can easily create smart scenes, with full control over the humidity and temperature in your home or office, for a healthy and comfortable climate.

Did you know that you can make the Shelly H&Ts as the main sensor for the room? In the overview of the Shelly Smart Control App, you can then immediately see the temperature and humidity for each room. You can even make the Shelly Bluetooth Humidity and Temperature Sensor the main sensor of the Shelly Wall Display. One disadvantage of the Wall Display's built-in Temperature and Humidity Sensor is that it gets warm with frequent use and does not always display the temperature correctly. Besides, you obviously place the BLU H&T centrally in the room, and so more realistic readings. If you create a heating schedule with it, you can use a Shelly Actor to switch your central heating boiler, underfloor heating or heating panel on or off, for example. Now that's smart climate control.

Installation is easy, just press the button to connect via Bluetooth to the free Shelly App, and pair the sensor with a Shelly Plus or Pro set up as a Bluetooth Gateway. The Bluetooth range is about 10m indoors, and about 30m outdoors. When you set the Shelly Plus and Pro devices as Bluetooth gateway, the Bluetooth signal in the house is strengthened (mesh network) and the range for your smart Bluetooth Sensor increases. Don't have any Shelly Plus or Pro devices in your home yet? No worries, a Shelly BLU Gateway stick is also available. The Bluetooth connection is completely secure with AES Encryption (CCM mode.) Also compatible with e.g. Home Assistant or other Smart Home System that supports the BTHome protocol.
