NEW: This smart ZigBee Hue in-wall switch NN also works without a blue neutral wire with devices like Philips Hue and Homey, and can be controlled via voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Easily and affordably control that special pendant lamp using the Philips Hue App. Additionally, you can optionally connect a rocker switch, and it will still function to control the lamp. Also suitable for hotel switching.
ZigBee Hue In-Wall Switch NN Works Without a Neutral Wire
Wirelessly control your lights with your smartphone using the Hue App from anywhere in the world. Easily create smart scenes and set timers in the Hue App for your home automation. For example, automatically turn on your lights at sunset or before nightfall. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible; "Hey Google, turn on the table lamp."
NOTE: Does not work with smart (HUE) lamps, requires a rocker switch, and ensure you have enough space behind your switch for the module.
This ZigBee 3.0 Switch is a very cost-effective and smart in-wall switch for your Smart Home System, and is usually small enough to be installed behind your wall switch. If you connect the smart switch without a blue neutral wire and use lamps with less than 20W, or if your lamps remain glowing, we also recommend ordering a Bypass.
Also Works With
*Google Home or Alexa requires a compatible Hub
** via Homey with, for example, EasyLighting App
*** HomeKit requires a compatible HomeKit Hub, such as the Hue Bridge.
Install the ZigBee Hue In-Wall Switch NN (No Neutral) according to the instructions behind your old rocker switch, then connect to the Philips Hue Bridge via the Hue App, and pair the module (press the reset button 4 times if necessary to pair). It doesn’t get easier than this! The ZigBee Switch works with traditional incandescent and halogen lamps up to 400W, or low-voltage halogen lamps and LED lighting up to 200W. The module does not work with your smart (HUE) lamps! The module does not require a blue neutral wire for connection. However, if you have the neutral wire available, connect it instead of placing a bridge between N and L. If you connect the in-wall switch without a neutral wire and use low-power (LED) lamps, we also recommend using a Bypass . If you also want to be able to dim, go for the ZigBee Hue In-Wall Dimmer NN.
