NEW: This smart ZigBee in-wall dimmer NN also works without a blue neutral wire (2-wire) with devices such as Philips Hue and Homey, and thus with Amazon Alexa and Google Home as well. Easily and affordably control that special pendant lamp with the Philips Hue App. And the great thing is, optionally you can also connect the rocker switch, and it will still work to turn the lamp on/off; you can adjust the dimming level via the app. Also suitable for hotel switching.
Turn on/off and dim your lights wirelessly with your smartphone in the Hue App, from anywhere in the world. Create smart scenes (scenarios) and set timers in the Hue App for your home automation. For example, automatically turn on your lights at sunset or automatically dim your lighting for the night between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa is also possible; "Hey Google, set the table lamp to 40%."
NOTE: Does not work with smart (HUE) lamps or rotary dimmers; requires a rocker switch, and measure to ensure you have enough space for the module behind your rocker switch.
This ZigBee 3.0 Dimmer is a very cost-effective and smart small in-wall dimmer for your Smart Home System, and usually small enough to be installed behind your wall switch. If you connect the smart dimmer without a blue neutral wire and use lamps less than 20W, or if your lamps continue to glow, we also recommend ordering the Bypass.
Also works with
*Google Home or Alexa requires a compatible Hub
** via Homey with, for example, EasyLighting App
*** HomeKit requires a compatible HomeKit Hub, such as the Hue Bridge.
Install the ZigBee Hue Dimmer NN (No Neutral) according to the instructions behind your rocker switch, then connect to the Philips Hue Bridge via the Hue App, and pair the module (click the reset button 4 times if necessary for pairing). It doesn't get easier than this! The ZigBee Dimmer works with traditional dimmable incandescent and halogen lamps up to 400W, or low-voltage halogen lamps and LED lighting up to 200W. The module does not work with your smart (HUE) lamps or old rotary dimmers! Additionally, you can set the minimum dimming level on the dimmer itself to prevent your lamps from flickering at low power. The dimmer does not require a blue neutral wire to connect. However, if you have a neutral wire available, connect it instead of placing the bridge between N and L. If you install the in-wall dimmer without a neutral wire and use (LED) lamps with low power, we also recommend using a Bypass .
There is also a ZigBee Hue In-Wall Switch NN. And if you also want to dim via the wall switch, go for the ZigBee Hue Dimmer NN version with push button.
