The new Aqara Motion Sensor P1 is an affordable ZigBee 3.0 motion sensor and Lux (light intensity) sensor for your smart home security and/or lighting automation. Easily connect the module to the Aqara Hub and use the sensor for your smart home alarm system or to automatically switch your lights on when motion is detected in the dark. Finally, affordable HomeKit automation and security with Aqara.
The Aqara motion sensor operates wirelessly on 2xCR2450 batteries (approx. 5 years). You can easily place it anywhere, and it comes with a mounting foot with stickers. The IR sensor has a detection angle of 150° up to 7 meters and 170° with a range of approx. 2 meters. Additionally, the sensor's timeout (inactive after detection) can be adjusted from 1s to 200s, and you can set the sensor sensitivity to low, medium, or high.
New is the Matter over Thread Aqara Motion & Light Sensor P2. This sensor requires a Thread Border router, like the Aqara Hub M3 or Apple TV for example. Do you want to mount the sensor to the wall or ceiling with a screw, order additionally the Aqara Motion Mount.
