The Shelly Plus 1 now features an extremely fast ESP32 processor, with Bluetooth for easy connection to your home WiFi, overheat protection, enhanced security with MQTT + SSL, MQTT with Cloud, scripting, and more;

Install the Shelly Plus 1 easily behind your wall switch, socket, or near your device, and connect via Bluetooth and WiFi with the app. Shelly offers a free app that allows you to set up a smart home system easily and inexpensively without the cost of a gateway or hub. You can then control the switch wirelessly with the app from anywhere in the world, include it in smart scenes and set timers, such as turning on your light at sunset. Voice control with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa is also possible. The open-source nature ensures that you can integrate Shelly Plus 1 with almost any home automation system.
For installation in a meter cabinet on a DIN rail, there's the Shelly Plus 1 DIN-Rail mount or opt for the Shelly PRO 1.

Prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely? No problem. Shelly Plus 1 also supports MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central broker: the MQTT broker. The devices involved communicate only with the broker and do not know each other. Thus, they do not need to know the IP addresses or technical details of the other participants.
