Tedee Pro with Bridge and M&C cylinder

The Tedee Pro Smart Lock is a wireless electronic lock that you can control with your smartphone from anywhere in the world. Tedee even automatically locks and unlocks the door for you! Your smartphone connects via the app to your Tedee lock and ensures that the lock automatically opens when you are within Bluetooth range (approximately 5 meters), which is incredibly handy when your hands are full with groceries. By holding the button for one second, you can close the front door behind you when you leave, and Tedee will automatically engage the night latch after the set number of seconds. This means you'll never need to use a key again.

You don't need to buy and replace batteries! Thanks to the ultra-low energy consumption of the lock and a powerful rechargeable battery, you can use your lock for about 10 months on a single charge. Don't worry if you forget to disconnect the charging cable, as the magnetic connector prevents damage to your charging cable when the lock is opened or closed while charging. Tedee features a beautiful design and is currently the smallest and quietest smart lock available.

It’s also convenient that you can still control your lock outside of Bluetooth range, such as when you're at work. The included Tedee Bridge makes this possible! The bridge connects your Tedee lock to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control your lock from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. The bridge should be connected within approximately 5 meters of the lock for good Bluetooth range.

Through the app, you can grant access to others, such as family members, office staff, B&B or Airbnb guests, or the cleaner on Tuesday mornings. Access can be limited or directly removed via the app. You can view who has used your Smart Lock via the logbook.

Installation

Installing the Tedee is fairly straightforward.

If you have measured the old cylinder size, start by adjusting the M&C cylinder. Read the manual and check out the video below if needed. Don’t worry if the battery is dead and you haven't charged it in time, as the key will still work on the outside of your door.

The communication of the Tedee Lock is secured with multi-level encryption. The security standards are comparable to those of the online banking sector and have been tested by independent bodies such as AV-Test.org.
