Tedee Pro with M&C cylinder

The Tedee Pro Smart Lock is a wireless electronic lock that you can control with your smartphone from anywhere in the world. Tedee even automatically locks the door for you! By holding the button for one second, you can close the front door behind you when you leave, and Tedee will automatically engage the night latch after the set number of seconds. This way, you never have to use a key again.

If you opt for the Refurbished version, you'll receive a €75 discount. This refers to a standalone Tedee Pro without a box, but with full warranty.

You don't need to buy or replace batteries! Thanks to the ultra-low energy consumption of the lock and a powerful rechargeable battery, you can use your lock for about 10 months on a single charge. No worries if you forget to unplug the charging cable, as the magnetic connector prevents damage to your cable when you open or close the lock while it’s charging. Tedee features a beautiful design and is the smallest and quietest smart lock currently available.

Through the app, you can grant access to others, such as your family, office staff, B&B or Airbnb guests, or the cleaner on Tuesday mornings. Access can be limited or removed directly via the app. You can also view the log to see who has used your Smart Lock.

Installation

Installing the Tedee is relatively straightforward.

Once you have measured the old cylinder size, start by customizing the M&C cylinder. Refer to the manual and check the video below if needed. Don’t worry if the battery is dead and you haven’t charged it in time, as the key will still work on the outside of your door.

The Tedee Lock's communication is secured with multi-level encryption. The security standards are comparable to those of the online banking sector and have been tested by independent organizations such as AV-Test.org.

Conveniently, even outside the Bluetooth range of the Tedee, you can still control your lock, for example, when you're at work. For this, you need the Tedee Bridge, which is sold separately! The bridge connects your Tedee lock to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control your lock from anywhere in the world via an internet connection. The bridge must be connected within approximately 5 meters of the lock for optimal Bluetooth range.
