If gas is detected, you receive an alert on your smartphone indicating a gas leak, and through a scene, you can automatically shut off the gas valve (requires an electric valve) and turn off all devices. The Smart Home Shelly GAS Sensor is a universal WiFi gas sensor with a beautiful design, operating on 110-230VAC. The sensor provides an acoustic alarm and a notification on your smartphone or tablet about a gas leak.

Install the Shelly GAS according to the instructions, connect via WiFi with the free Shelly App, and link the module. Place the Shelly GAS near any gas usage areas, such as your boiler, gas heater, or stove, or in any location where a gas leak might be expected. Simply plug it into a socket—nothing could be easier!

Prefer not to use the free Shelly cloud service but still want to control your devices remotely? No problem. Shelly GAS also supports basic MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) for reliable connections via a central broker: the MQTT broker. The devices involved communicate only with the broker and do not know each other. They do not need to know the IP addresses and technical details of other participants. This ensures safe and reliable communication with real-time monitoring and easy integration.
