This innovative system from the brand BINTHEN makes your curtains whisper-quiet and electric, and can be controlled with the included remote control up to a distance of 8.2 meters. You can use the system stand-alone with the remote control or connect the motor via the RS485 bus system. Alternatively, you can use the RJ11 port to connect a blind switch or, for example, a Shelly UNI or FIBARO Smart Implant. This way, you can easily integrate your heavier 2Nm electric curtain motor with your smart home system and control it with your smartphone or automate it using smart scenes.
If you make the system smart and connect it with your Smart Home System, you can automate it via scenes or schedules. For example, wake up with sunrise or open your electric curtains automatically 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. This way, you start your day refreshed. Activate a Vacation Schedule when you are away to keep burglars in the dark. Have your curtains close automatically in time to save energy in winter or keep the heat out in summer. The possibilities are endless, and the rubber band makes the electric curtain very quiet.
NOTE: If you are not familiar with RS485, this is probably not the system you are looking for. We have alternative systems with 4-Wire, 5-Wire for connecting, for example, a smart blind/curtain switch, or the Tuya System via WiFi or ZigBee.
How does it work?
The smart electric curtain system consists of all the components needed to make your curtains smart. If you can install curtain rails and connect a wall switch, then you can handle this system as well. The system comes with various rail lengths, allowing you to assemble the desired length. Mount the brackets on the ceiling or wall (separate brackets), connect the rail lengths with rail connectors, install the rubber band, end pieces, and runners, and snap the system onto the brackets. Then snap the motor onto the system and connect it to the RS485 bus. For example, if you connect a Shelly UNI or FIBARO Z-Wave Plus Smart Implant to the RJ11 port and link it to your smart home system that supports Google or Alexa, you can control the curtains with those as well.
Choose the system based on the length of your curtains: up to 3.2m, 5.2m, or 8.2m. The system allows for center, left, or right closing. And of course, the motor is discreetly hidden behind the curtain. There is also an option for S-wave curtains with separately ordered S-Wave runners and carriers.

- Aluminum rails per meter, including 1x500mm, 2x200mm, and 1x100mm
- Ceiling brackets and rail connectors (optional wall brackets available)

- Curtain hooks (Carriers and Runners)
- Extra powerful 2.0N curtain motor

Note: If you also want to connect a wall switch with a smart blind/curtain switch behind it, choose the standard Electric Curtain Rail System combined with, for example, a Fibaro in-wall blind switch.
