Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2

The Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 is one of the first on the market to support Thread & Matter. It provides users with the ability to connect the sensor directly to a Thread Border Router from other manufacturers. This has two major benefits: the sensor does not require a specific manufacturer's Hub and can take advantage of Matter functionality, making it compatible with multiple platforms such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and SmartThings ecosystems. Additionally, the new sensor offers advanced automation and security features for which Aqara is known.

Important: The Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 works only with a Thread Border Router. The P2 Sensor is not compatible with the older Aqara Zigbee hubs like the M2 but is compatible with the new Aqara Hub M3.
